Where can I find a campsite in the Rio Grande Valley

by Mari

I'm bringing about 10 high school students to the RGV this summer to work on a community service project, and we are looking for a campsite for them to stay at that has indoor facilities, cots, etc. Please, let me know if you have any ideas for where I might look.

Cameron County Parks and Recreation
by: Tim

I'm not sure exactly what your looking for, but you might want to check out the Cameron County Parks and Recreation site. http://www.co.cameron.tx.us/parks/las_cabanas.htm - Looks like something you could want. If you look on this page, there is a few more park options to look at.

However, If you looking for something on the West side of the valley, try http://www.co.hidalgo.tx.us/index.aspx?NID=416.

Hope that helps.
