Summer Time - Fireworks on the Bay - SOUTH PADRE ISLAND

From Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, the Fireworks Capital of Texas (as proclaimed by the Texas Senate!) celebrates summer with fireworks every Friday night at 9:15 pm. The displays are shot from a barge on the Laguna Madre Bay, roughly between Marlin and Red Snapper Streets. The displays can be seen throughout the area. Call 956-761-6433 for more information.

Louie's back yard is an idea place to see the fireworks. However, I recommend getting there early. Don't forget to bring bug spray. You will be next to the water after all.
