Don’t pay a resume
service for formatting your job resume.
Sample job resumes are a function of
recent Microsoft Office products. You can choose from
professional looking templates which may already be
installed on your computer. I currently have MS Office 2007
and I’ll be listing the steps on how you can access these
templates.
Open Microsoft Word.
Next click on the Office Button.
This is in the upper left hand corner and has a red, blue,
yellow and green design.
Select new.
The new document window will
open. Scroll down the list of Templates and select the
Resumes and CVs option.
At this point, you have choices
and I recommend you explore all three choices in the middle
field. From here, I am just going to take you to the sample
job resume I like best.
Select the Job-Specific Resumes
option.
In the search box above the middle
field, type in executive sales. Am I in executive sales? No.
The person looking at the resume is not going to know it’s
an “Executive Sales Professional” template used to create
your resume and if they do, they won’t care. All they see is
a professionally formatted resume.
Before you start, you should
select a sample job resume of your choice. Double click the
Executive Sales Professional template that is returned to
you.
Now replace John Doe’s
information with yours.
Now you have a professional
looking resume at no cost to you.
