Rainbow Bakery Store

With today’s rising prices, we tend to look for ways to save money. One of the main foods my family eats is bread. We have witnessed bread prices going up just like gasoline. At Wal-Mart it’s hard to find a loaf of bread for under $2 and H.E.B. offers a better price, but there prices have gone up also.

During my time living in Nashua, NH, I lived down the street from a convenience store that had a small deli. I could buy a 12 inch ham and cheese sub that included lettuce and tomato and a soda for $3. In addition, I could buy a 16 ounce cup full of ice cream for $1. I always wonder, “Where are those good deals now.”

The Rainbow Bakery store would be one of those places. You can buy Rainbow or Sara Lee loaf’s of bread for 59 cents and a 6 pack of bangles for 99 cents. My wife is happiest about the bagels. She always enjoyed getting them up north.

They also sell cookies, snacks, peanut butter, jelly, syrup and a variety of other items at an affordable price.

The Rainbow Bakery store is located 1 block east of Tyler and Hwy 77.
