When travelling by car, don’t stop at gas stations to use the bathroom. They are usually dirty and have a foul smell. Stop at a hotel instead. Their bathrooms are always clean. They are located near the lobby and the clerk at the desk does not know if you’re staying there or visiting a friend. If they offer help, just decline. Walk past the desk and look for the bathroom.
When flying, renting a car, or staying in a hotel, always ask how much an upgrade is. Once they tell you, decline the offer. Act as if it’s too much. Many times if there is availability they will upgrade you for free.

Always be the last person on the plane. Just because you get on 15 minutes early does not mean it’s leaving early.
