6th Annual “FREE DHR Community Health Fair” Edinburg, TX—2/20/2012—Doctors Hospital at Renaissance (DHR) is pleased to announce its 6th Annual “FREE DHR Community Health Fair,” which is dedicated to the health and wellness needs of the Rio Grande Valley. As our community grows, so do our healthcare needs. DHR has acknowledged this and has decided to once again contribute to the health and well-being of the Rio Grande Valley by providing free health screenings, medical information, education, and health related services for our community members. The “Free DHR Community Health Fair” will take place at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance is located at 118 Paseo del Prado behind the Cancer Center at Renaissance; the entrance is located off of McColl Rd., north of Dove and south of Alberta. The “DHR Community Health Fair” is free of charge and open to the public. All participants will also be eligible for exciting door prizes! The 6th Annual “Free DHR Community Health Fair” will provide educational and informational health services, access to new medical advancements, vision and hearing tests, and free health screenings to help our community members identify their risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke or other common health problems. Other health care providers and DHR departments will have tables with health and nutritional information. “I encourage everyone to start the New Year with a clean bill of health and participate in the Free DHR Community Health Fair. We are so excited that we can help the community by providing free health screenings,” said Marissa Castañeda, Doctors Hospital at Renaissance Chief Operations Officer.
