Are some daycares to busy?
If you are looking for a
daycare in the Rio Grande Valley, there are a few things you might want to
consider.
If you call the daycare and
leave a message for the director with one the employees, do they call you back?
If they fail to call back, I would wonder why. Are they too busy? Are they not
organized? Do they not care? Is there something they are trying to hide?
When you call for the first
time, does the person answering the phone have time to speak with you? Again,
are they too busy? If they are too busy, what happens if there is an emergency?
Does the daycare provider
have their own kids there? Do they get special treatment, while your child goes
with a runny nose or wet diaper?
How are the other kids
acting in the daycare? Remember, your kids will pick up bad habits from other
kids. If you child does not throw tantrums, wait till they see another child do
it everyday.
Do they allow surprise
visits? I would hope so. If not, why?
How long has the staff
members been working there? If it’s not good enough for the employees, how good
can it be for the kids? In addition, how long have the kids been there?
Is the staff willing and
able to answer any and all questions?
