Bowfishing in the Rio Grande Valley

I live in Harlingen Tx and i guess what I like to do is to go bowfishing. I haven't been bowfishing for very long but I have found some verry good spots down here to bowfish, there are several good water sources in the San Benito and Harlingen aera. When going bowfishing the best fish to go for are gars due to fact that in muddy water they will surface to breath this makes them a perfect target for a bow. well thats all for now if anyone out there knows any other good spots for bowfishing post them up.
