The Ballet Folklorico UT Pan American will host a summer intensive folklorico workshop for the intermediate to advance level dancer, ages 14 to adult. The workshop will offer dance material from the state of Veracruz and will be taught by Francisco Munoz, artistic director, and Miguel Angel Pena, member of the UTPA Ballet Folklorico and a performer with the professional Mexican folkloric dance company “Jarocho”. The workshop will be held from 4-7 pm, July 9-13, at the HPE II, Room 133, dance studio on the UTPA campus. Cost for the workshop is $150 per student.
