Ballet Folklorico UT Pan American Summer 2012 Dance Camps

The University of Texas Pan American Ballet Folklórico will be hosting two folkloric dance camp sessions, July 10-13, for students ages 8-17. The dance camps will be held at the HPE II, Room 133, dance studio on the UTPA campus. Cost is $100 per student, per session. The first dance camp session will be from 9:30 am to 12 noon. A second session will be offered from 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm.
The Folkloric dance camps will be taught by members of the UTPA Ballet Folklorico and will provide dance material from different regions of Mexico and various world cultures. Students will experience 2 1/2 hour sessions of vigorous dancing and imaginative instruction. No prior dance experience is required.
