Are there any local armed forces units or organizations in the Rio Grande area? We are looking to do an appreciation event for those who have served or currently serving our country so proudly! Any information will help, thank you.

yes. A national guard unit in Weslaco and one in Browsville and a reserve unit in Harlingen.

There alot of Organizations down here

Almost every city has either a VFW (Veterans of Foriegn Wars) or an American Legion
