(Harlingen, TX)
I come to you as an anonymous gambler of the RGV. I work for a television provider and make ok money for the valley. My problem is I gamble all the time. I will bet on just about anything, but I mainly play poker. I don't care if it is with friends, or online at PokerStars.Com. I love to gamble.
I do live a nice life and have more than what I need. I live in a house in the Treasure Hills area of Harlingen, drive a nice vehicle, have a beautiful girlfriend, have a dog and love life in general.
In an average month, I tend to risk around $500 on Texas Hold'em. Some months I win more than I risk, and some months, I have lost all $500 or more. Gambling is an addiction, and it sucks. Don't get me wrong, it is fun and I love the adrenaline rush I get from it, but it is addicting.
TAKE IT FROM ME: DO NOT GAMBLE UNLESS YOU CAN SET LIMITS!! Some friends of mine gamble soo much; they can't even afford to pay their months bills. I personally make sure that all of my bills get paid on time and I only risk the rest. I would never risk losing my house, my vehicle, or anything else to play poker. If you can learn anything from me, SET LIMITS and STICK TO THEM.
