My name is Katelyn. I am 15 years old. I am in 10th grade at Science Academy in Mercedes. I have friends from all over the Valley. I have 2 younger half brothers and 1 older step brother. I am the only girl in my family. My step-father is a truck driver for FedEx Freight East. He drives to San Antonio and back every night. My mom is a stay at home mom who is presently working on getting a teaching degree. One of my little brothers goes to school at Saint Albans in Harligen and the other one stays at home with my mom. I like to draw in my spare time. My step-father, one of my little brothers, and I go to karate on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30pm. One of my other hobbies is playing softball. I also like to do jigsaw puzzles when I have enough free time. During the holidays and on summer vacation I volunteer at Harlingen Medical Center.
