Tejano Grill in Harlingen.

My wife and I went to the Tejano Bar and Grill the other day. It’s a new restaurant by our house. We arrived a little before lunch time. The place is decorated in a Southwestern setting. Wooden tables, dead animal heads and such.

The Menu lacks something to be desired. We both ordered the Fajita plate. The order came out in a reasonable amount of time. There was plenty of meat. The sides were a little short. They gave us some lettuce and one slice of tomato the size of a half dollar. (Lame). For two orders of fajita plates, we received two tortillas; One for each of us. Are these people serious? My soda was a 12 ounce can of coke  at $1.25. The entire bill came right at $20.

The eating area appeared clean, but it’s hard to tell when everything is made of wood. Some of the silverware still had food on it. The bathroom looks like it is cleaned once a day and the automatic hand towel dispenser did not work.

Would I go back? No.

Tejano Grill is located across from The Wilson Sports Complex.
