Lopez, whose statue is in Brownsville’s Veteran’s Park or a little known soldier–like Loretta Velasquez who disguised herself to fight in the Civil War? Or is your hero closer to home–like your aunt or dad?
Design a postage stamp featuring YOUR Hispanic Hero for a Hispanic Military Heroes Stamp Series. Write 2-3 sentences about why s/he is your Hispanic Hero.
