We would like to thank the El Rey Theatre for sponsoring the event with a venue and will also open up their bar for patronage during the event.
The aim of social media camp is to bring together “the brightest minds in Social Media with people interested in learning more about the power of Community Based Marketing.”
The breakdown goes like this: We find top locals in Blogging, Podcasting, Live Streaming, and New Media and let them have a stage a la BarCamp and let them share what they know with us.
You get to learn, share, meet and network at no cost to you. This is totally community driven and depends on what the valley is doing with social media. If you have been thinking if adding a Facebook fan page, Twitter account or other media stream to your brand or business this is the place to come and learn more about those services and how they work. Find out how others are using them and what they suggest that you do not do.
One of the great things that social networking offers is that it allows you to provide content to specific members, provide special promotions and engage your audience in what your business is doing, we all like to feel like our opinion matters and that we are part of the process – social media incorporates these things if you are keen on your usage.
