Kim Kamando is the only light in this dark tunnel but she is on only on weekends. During the week, prime time, it is all doom and gloom with Beck, Limbaugh, Levine and guests. It's hammer-time day in and day out with these guys. Colonel Ray was the only Host who ever set them straight but the station management couldn't take it so they fired him. Bye-bye from this listener......

Thank you for posting to the site. I also like Kim Kamando. She gives good quality content to talk radio. I also like the doom and gloomers.

It did not surprise me when Colonel Ray left the station. I would be surprised at how much he would yell at the callers. He would seem to get out of control. I don’t think I’ve heard a successful radio host badger his callers so much. I understand where people like Levine attack callers on his show but it’s different. He attacks people who are totally 180 from the way he thinks. On the other hand, it seemed Col. Ray would attack people who only disagreed with him on one or two things. It was like he was alienating his base.

I know he stated, “I’m not a Republican and I’m not a Democrat. I’m an American.” However, over the years I felt he started out as a Republican supporter and nosedived to a Democrat supporter. Personally, I stopped listening to him the moment I heard him say, “President Reagan was the worst President in the last 100 years.” He was off the air very shortly after that. I guess some things just shouldn’t be said.

Personally, I don’t think Democrat/Liberal radio shows work. Can you think of any that are successful?
