A picture of nothing much in Brownsville.

1) Don’t drink the water
2) Take a photo ID.
3) Don’t joke with the border patrol / Customs.
4) Don’t talk back to the police.
5) Pedestrians do NOT have the right away. Neither do cars.
6) Even though drugs are legal in Mexico, they are NOT legal to bring back to the U.S.
7) If you are from out of state you can bring back double the alcohol.
8) Don’t go past the first 3 blocks with out a guide.
9) Don’t eat from the Taco stands.
10) Don’t exchange you money for Pesos or women.
11) Do not assume you have rights.
12) Insurance does not cross the bridge with you.
13) When someone tells you the cost of something, walk away. The farther you get the cheaper it gets.
14) Don’t take your pets
15) You have to pay to come back.
16) Take cash.
17) Don’t wear jewelry or flash money.
18) If the police arrest you, bribing has a 50-50 chance of working.
19) It‘s safer to take a Hispanic that can NOT speak Spanish with you than taking a gringo that can.
20) When in doubt, run for the border and we are NOT talking about Taco Bell.

For knowing so much...

...you know nothing, moron. What you described is a very small part of Mexico, usually ear the border with the US. Not everywhere in Mexico is like that.
Besides, people in that country struggle enough to try to bring the country back up from where the shitty government has left it. AND drugs are NOT legal in Mexico, you ignoramus. #NoI'mNotAMexicanButAtLeastI'mNotAnUnculturedScumbagAndIRespectOtherCultures.

Knowledge

It seems your level of knowledge about Mexico is not much. You should read some books before you write articles, which obviously you do not have any idea.

Regards from Germany!

It took them long enough

I find it funny that the news said Mexican Authorities just found out about it a few years ago. I have known this since I used to go over when I was in High School and that was 20 years ago. After a dozen mixed drinks at a dollar, I didn't really care.

strange meat
by: Anonymous

these are all true but you forgot to mention why you should not eat the tacos in the taco stands : dog meat yes this was in the news 2 or 3 yrs ago mexican authorities found out that these taco dudes were picking up strays and selling the meat in their tacos this happened in reynosa and matamoros also in monterrey if you dont believe me look it up yourself!

I thought that these were really funny and my photography class thought they were funny too!

Cars that have the right away.

The person with the cheaper car has the right away.
