20 things you should know before going to Mexico for the first time.

1) Don’t drink the water
2) Take a photo ID.
3) Don’t joke with the border patrol / Customs.
4) Don’t talk back to the police.
5) Pedestrians do NOT have the right away. Neither do cars.
6) Even though drugs are legal in Mexico, they are NOT legal to bring back to the U.S.
7) If you are from out of state you can bring back double the alcohol.
8) Don’t go past the first 3 blocks with out a guide.
9) Don’t eat from the Taco stands.
10) Don’t exchange you money for Pesos or women.
11) Do not assume you have rights.
12) Insurance does not cross the bridge with you.
13) When someone tells you the cost of something, walk away. The farther you get the cheaper it gets.
14) Don’t take your pets
15) You have to pay to come back.
16) Take cash.
17) Don’t wear jewelry or flash money.
18) If the police arrest you, bribing has a 50-50 chance of working.
19) It‘s safer to take a Hispanic that can NOT speak Spanish with you than taking a gringo that can.
20) When in doubt, run for the border and we are NOT talking about Taco Bell.
